Ripped Knees

I’m in love with these jeans from ASOS. After seeing them on The Native Fox I really loved the fit and color. I’m always hesitant to buy jeans online since I’m not always aware of my sizing (especially UK sizing) but I gave it my best effort and ended up with the perfect soft pair of denim that hugs you in all the right places. Kept it simple with a black tank and my green army button up. Perfect outfit for spiced iced chais, pastries, and a perfect view of the ocean.

So as you might have already guessed…I chopped off all my hair! I feel lucky to be one of those individuals who isn’t super attached to my hair. I’m constantly bored with my cuts so going short just seemed the right move, it’s a vicious cycle. Either way I really like it and hopefully it will reflect well in my style.

Just a quick post today, I received this jacket for Christmas after almost making the purchase a few months back but turning back on it. So glad my mom kept it in mind for me! I am obsessed with leather jackets and the green just really seems to pop for fall/winter. What you can’t see in this picture is the back of the jacket which sits higher up on your back and crosses over. Will definitely be posting more of this jacket when the time comes considering we were losing light quickly today! I also grabbed these boots from Zara with the gift card Nick got me for Christmas. Although they are a size too big they are incredibly comfortable and hits in the perfect spot to wear with mini dresses this spring!

80s Denim Jacket

I have been searching for the perfect oversized denim jacket for this coming fall. As much as I love the clean cut men’s wear monochrome madness that my style spews at times, nothing will ever drive me away from my casual oversized throwback clothing or as Nick like’s to call it “Classic Stephanie Outfits”. Instead of spending all weekend lounging around watching football I got us out of the house for once to visit the Rose Bowl Swap Meet. It was just as awesome as I remembered (I got my prom dress there), definitely should have worn boots or tennis shoes however because my feet were aching. I picked up this jacket along with some garlic fries that just about stuck with me until this morning. I would highly recommend going, whether you are looking to spice up your home decor, pick up some thrifted clothing items or just to laugh at all the wacky knick knacks people have accumulated over the years you won’t be disappointed with the selection.

Parking is FREE but get there earlier (right at 9 should be good) because the lots fill up fast. Cost of regular admission is $8.00 after 9 am and be sure to have PLENTY of cash which was one of the mistakes I made. Happy hunting!

I’ve been very intrigued by the “sporty” fashion trend I seem to be finding in stores like TopShop and online at NastyGal. Might explain my strange attraction to mesh jerseys lately. Almost unknown to my subconscious I put this outfit together before heading to the office. While I traded out this American Apparel wind breaker for a blazer later in the day it really helped pull the whole sports inspired look together. Not to mention my absolute favorite riding pants I purchased from TopShop. I not only can get away with wearing these at work but they are the most comfortable high waisted pants I have ever worn. The white stripes on the side give this look exactly what it needs, that 80s sport vibe.

Minnie Mouse snapback was also placed in for some additional fun 🙂
