ASOS Skater Dress

Simple dresses and obnoxiously large jewelry is where it’s at. I got both of these pieces from ASOS which is one of my go-to’s for my staple pieces like tees, dresses, and jeans. I noticed something was missing from my dress collection (which has recently become smaller), a simple dress that can be thrown on under my assortment of jackets, can be paired with cute tights or socks and can be worn with my knee high boots. The button detailing down the front also gives it some extra flair that I haven’t found in many skater dresses.

Now let’s talk about this necklace, I can’t wait to throw this on with all of my oversized tees and distressed shorts this summer. I’ve never been a huge jewelry girl, normally sticking to staple pieces like my ring collection and a basic short chained necklace however I really like the idea of spicing up a somewhat plain jane outfit with something so drastic as this necklace. If you are looking to rework your wardrobe adding some statement jewelry pieces are a fun, simple, and cheap way to do it. Happy Monday friends!

A little blog post during a day out for errands and some delicious Crepes. Paired a really old piece with some of my new favorites. My sisters gifted me this corduroy pale pink button up from Madewell a few years back for Christmas and I finally have brought it back to life. I suppose moving into a new apartment has led to me re-discovering a ton of my old clothes and falling in love with them all over again (a very refreshing feeling). This H&M sweater has really been one of my favorite new pieces, everyone should commit to at least one cable knit sweater in their life. Perhaps I was channeling a little bit of Audrey Hepburn this afternoon but hey, I’m not complaining!

I’m in love with these jeans from ASOS. After seeing them on The Native Fox I really loved the fit and color. I’m always hesitant to buy jeans online since I’m not always aware of my sizing (especially UK sizing) but I gave it my best effort and ended up with the perfect soft pair of denim that hugs you in all the right places. Kept it simple with a black tank and my green army button up. Perfect outfit for spiced iced chais, pastries, and a perfect view of the ocean.

Over-All

I’m so glad overalls have come back into trend, I have had the most difficult time trying to thrift a pair that 1) fit me 2) had the correct wash and 3) wasn’t overtaken by Winnie the Pooh patches. Luckily I stumbled upon PacSuns blowout sale which had these Bullhead denim dungarees on mega sale. I love the dark wash and the baggy bottom half. I’ve really been into this outdoors/workwear look in my outfits. I’m not sure if it’s the new hair or my Timberlands (which I have an unhealthy obsession with) turning me towards this new style…but it’s probably both. Happy Monday!

Zara Basics

Had the perfect weather on Saturday for big coats and little skirts. I have gradually been transitioning my closet into basic pieces that will stand the test of time. After going through a ton of old clothes from high school/college I have realized that just because you have space for things doesn’t always mean you should keep them. Decided to play down the shortness of the skirt with a baggy t-shirt and keep my legs looking lengthy with these heeled boots. My name is Stephanie and I have a Zara addiction.

Green Leather

So as you might have already guessed…I chopped off all my hair! I feel lucky to be one of those individuals who isn’t super attached to my hair. I’m constantly bored with my cuts so going short just seemed the right move, it’s a vicious cycle. Either way I really like it and hopefully it will reflect well in my style.

Just a quick post today, I received this jacket for Christmas after almost making the purchase a few months back but turning back on it. So glad my mom kept it in mind for me! I am obsessed with leather jackets and the green just really seems to pop for fall/winter. What you can’t see in this picture is the back of the jacket which sits higher up on your back and crosses over. Will definitely be posting more of this jacket when the time comes considering we were losing light quickly today! I also grabbed these boots from Zara with the gift card Nick got me for Christmas. Although they are a size too big they are incredibly comfortable and hits in the perfect spot to wear with mini dresses this spring!
